New road closure planned in Milton Keynes to make way for Redway works

There will be a temporary closure along the length of Cranfield Road, Aspley Guise between Lower End Road and Wavendon Road, to allow for Redway link project work.

Where possible, access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time, according to local signing.

There will be a temporary closure along the length of Cranfield Road, Aspley Guise between Lower End Road and Wavendon Road, to allow for Redway link project work.

Works are expected to take place from October 25 to December 5. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order to prohibit any vehicles, except any being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from using the road.

The Order will come into operation on October 25 for a period of eighteen months or until the works have been completed - whichever is earlier.

The alternative route for this closure is via Broughton Rd, Fen St, Countess Way, Newport Rd, Lower End Rd and vice versa.
