Dons will have their work cut out for them when they arrive at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday aiming to get their first win over Hull City.

Grant McCann was named manager of the month for January as the Tigers sit second in the table, though their start to February has been sticky so far, drawing twice and losing to bottom club Burton.

Dons have picked up seven points from a possible nine as they climbed to 14th in the league on Tuesday night, and have lost once in their last four away from Stadium MK.

In five previous meetings between the sides, Dons have failed to win in all of them, picking up two draws. However, their last trip to east Yorkshire saw them claim a brilliant 1-1 draw when Anthony Kay marked his comeback into the side with a second half equaliser in March 2016.

Hull ran out 3-1 winners at Stadium MK earlier this season, with two Josh Magennis goals inside the opening 12 minutes leaving Dons with an uphill battle.

Declan Bourne will referee the game, his 20th outing of the season. So far, he has booked 55 players but hasn't sent anyone off. Officiating in his first season in the football league, Bourne hasn't taken charge of Hull nor Dons before. Ian Smedley and David Hunt will run the lines, and Daniel Middleton will be the fourth official.

Bookmakers have Hull at evens to claim victory, with Dons at 11/4 and 5/2 the draw.
