Friendships count for nothing as MK Lakers and Bucks face off

They may be neighbours and friends, but that will count for nothing as MK Lakers and MK Bucks prepare to meet twice in the final weeks of the South Midlands Division 1 korfball league.

The clubs will first meet this Sunday, April 17 before a second meeting later this month.

It is the culmination of a busy final month of indoor korfball for MK Bucks, who have already played two vigorous friendlies against Abingdon Atoms and Harrow in preparation for the big league season finale.

Luke Wakefield of MK Bucks, said: “It is a friendly rivalry but a rivalry nonetheless.

“It will be a great way to end the indoor season before we start our outdoor training for the summer tournaments.”
