Elliot Hind leads MMKAC home in Bedford

Seven MMKAC athletes competed at the Bedford Autodrome road races at the weekend.

Pride of place to Elliot Hind who placed fourth in the half-marathon with a time of 71.03. just 25 seconds off his personal best.

Dan Webber finished 21st in the 5km with a PB of 17.13 and second M40.

Andrew Wasdell set a pb of 18.11, placing 28th and second in the M45 category.

Karen Tincknell was ninth lady overall and first in the F40 age group and a PB of 22.31.

Malcolm Kidby closed in the MMKAC runners, 63rd (24.57) for a season’s best.

Two competed in the 10km with Lauren Hankers 10th lady (44.35) whilst evergreen David Newens was first M75 clocking 45.58
