Last chance to enter as Milton Keynes housebuilder hunts ‘archi-tot’ to design future homes

It’s the last chance for children in Milton Keynes to showcase their house design skills – and win £100

Redrow South Midlands, which is currently building at Woburn View in Woburn Sands, is calling on the city’s youngsters to design a house suitable for 2126 – some 100 years from now.  

Whether it’s wallpaper that changes depending on your mood, a fridge that restocks automatically or a bathroom that cleans itself, the design must suit the needs of ultra-modern family life while being energy efficient and built sustainably.  

The role is open to four-to-16-year-olds across the region. They will need to submit their ‘house of the future’ design to: [email protected].

The winning archi-tot will not only receive a £100 prize but also see their design placed in a time capsule and buried in the ground at Woburn View, ready to be unearthed in 50 years’ time.  

Imaginative youngsters across the region have until midnight on Friday 30th October to submit their entries. The winner will join other successful archi-tots chosen by Redrow regions across the UK, with one overall champion to be announced later this year.
