Milton Keynes' Hamza Mehmood to headline professional boxing show for the first time

The headline slot caps a rapid rise for the 3-0 prospect, who leads a card packed with some of the brightest young talents in the promotion's stable.

Mehmood, a former national elite amateur champion trained by Daley Perales, opened his professional account with a shutout points win in December before stopping his second opponent in three rounds at York Hall. He returned to the famous Bethnal Green venue in June to outbox Peru's Diego Tananta on points, impressing with his sharp jab, composure and ring intelligence.

“I'm honoured to be topping the bill for the first time – it's a big step and one I've worked hard for,” said Mehmood. “Every fight is a chance to learn, improve and show what I'm capable of. The support from Milton Keynes has been incredible since day one and I can't wait to put on a performance for everyone making the trip.”

Another strong travelling support is expected to make the journey from Milton Keynes on the night, with tickets available directly from Mehmood via his social media pages.
