The company, based at The Galleries in Olney, has also selected Ailsa’s Aim as its Charity of the Year. Over the next 12 months, its team will support the charity in a variety of ways, helping it continue its work with people affected by cancer and families with babies receiving neonatal care.

Not For Profit People recruits exclusively for charities, social care providers, local government and other purpose-led organisations. Its commitment to strengthening the not-for-profit sector makes the new partnership particularly meaningful.

Ailsa’s Aim also has its offices in Olney, making this a genuinely local relationship between two organisations that share a commitment to helping communities thrive.

The £1,000 donation will help fund Aim High Festival, taking place in Higham Ferrers on Saturday, September 19. The inclusive community festival will be completely free to attend, offering live music, rides, entertainment, activities and dedicated SEND provision.

Ailsa’s Aim has deliberately made the festival free because many families are currently facing significant financial pressures. The charity does not believe anyone should have to miss out on community experiences because they cannot afford tickets, particularly families already coping with cancer, neonatal care, disability, isolation or other difficult circumstances.

Sara Whatley, CEO and Co-Founder of Ailsa’s Aim, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Not For Profit People for this generous donation and for choosing Ailsa’s Aim as their Charity of the Year.

“Being so close to our offices in Olney makes this partnership feel particularly special. They understand the pressures facing small charities and the importance of protecting our time and resources so that we can concentrate on supporting people.

“Aim High is about inclusion, reducing isolation and bringing a community together. We want families to enjoy a brilliant day without worrying about whether they can afford to take part. This £1,000 donation will help us keep that promise.”

Ailsa’s Aim provides free care packs, RADAR keys, wellbeing support and respite breaks to people affected by cancer and neonatal care.

The partnership demonstrates what can be achieved when local businesses and charities work together—combining professional expertise, community spirit and a shared determination to make a lasting difference.
