Bushfield School, in Wolverton, sent a letter to parents today (Friday, September 25) confirming that someone from the school has tested positive for the virus.

The junior school's headteacher Steve Springett-McHugh has told a number of students who came into close contact with the confirmed case to self-isolate for 14 days.

A spokesperson said the school is working closely with Public Health England and that it continues to monitor the situation.

The school is still open and all students who are well, the letter says, should continue to attend.
