Meet couple based in Milton Keynes whose fantasy jewellery business has become a reality
A couple who met at university and are now based in Bletchley, have turned their fantasy jewellery business into a reality.
Angel White has launched FAE&ME alongside Miles McAuliffe, who she met while the pair were both at Aston University in 2018.
Angel was inspired to launch the business after reading her first fantasy novel in 2025.
The business, which celebrates its first anniversary in November, has grown to more than 10,000 followers, while its content has had more than one million views on social media.

Angel and Miles divide their time between their respective parents’ homes in Bletchley and Tamworth.
‘I picked up my first fantasy book at the start of 2025 (A Court of Thorns and Roses, by Sara J Maas) and completely fell in love with it,” she said.
‘I started to notice that certain stories and characters would stay with me after I finished the books.
‘Everything I found jewellery wise was very loud and literal, and it felt more like merch to me.
‘But I wanted a subtle and dainty way to carry the magic and stories with me. So I started designing!
‘As neither of us have ever designed jewellery before, this has been a massive leaning curve, but we feel we are now finding our design style and becoming recongised for our subtle nods to fantasy.
‘We've received over 150+ reviews, all of which are five stars.
‘We've had some incredible feedback from customers, both from those who have bought themselves the jewellery pieces, and partners who have bought FAE & ME pieces as a gift.”
Among the other milestones as FAE&ME approaches its first birthday, is a successful collaboration with Penguin Books and the shipping of its jewellery to customers in more than 17 countries.
Angel said: ‘Miles and I met at university back in 2018! We were coincidentally in the same flat in our first year accommodation at Aston University.
‘We started off as just best friends pretty much straight away.
‘We live and work together, and we move together between our parents houses, as we've just got back from living abroad.”
FAE&ME recently took part in its first pop-up event, a Halloween themed book event in The Cotswolds, and Angel says she hopes they can take part in many more.
She reflected: ‘What started as a small idea has grown into a wonderful community of readers, romantics and jewellery lovers around the world.”
One recent review of FAE&ME reads: ‘As a book lover, your small business is my dream come true.
‘You have created jewellery that is inspired by favourite fantasy and romantic worlds, yet are subtle and delicate.
‘With this whimsical vision you have also created a beautiful website that is easy to manoeuvre and packaging that completes the experience.
‘I had a hard time picking which piece to buy because I simply want it all, everything is perfect.
‘It shows that the FAE&ME team has put in great effort.
‘From the product to the small details everything is utter perfection.
‘I kindly ask that you never stop at your craft - it is art that I wear when I put on my necklace, and never have I felt more beautiful and understood.”
