Cold days and Christmas pressure ‑ Why MK Food Bank needs us more than ever
It’s a tough time of year for many families. We are in the cold months now, and many go hungry. It is a huge pressure to provide for your family during this expensive time of year. There are many extra things you have to pay for at this time, such as Halloween treats and Christmas presents ‑ leaving some people having to choose between food and heating. That’s why I encourage everyone this year as your Christmas gift to those struggling to donate to MK Food Bank. You can drop of food at their Bletchley warehouse or at their participating local supermarket drop of point around MK (non perishable food is preferred and make sure it’s in-date!)

For a super fun activity that also helps MK Food Bank help other people is their upcoming 24 hour pickleball festival! It’s £10 to enter per player - 16+ held at the Woughton Prairie Centre MK - a great way to get active and help others at the same time ! You can sign up on their website. Remember this time of year is about giving.
