Images released of people police believe have vital information about Milton Keynes murder

Thames Valley Police is releasing images of two people our Major Crime Unit would like to speak to as they could be witnesses related to a murder in Bletchley over the summer.

Police say they believe the people in the images may have vital information in relation to the fatal stabbing of Mohammed Tanveerul Islam in Brooklands Road on 30 July.

The two people were seen on CCTV in the Blue Lagoon Nature Reserve car park off Drayton Road on 31 July.

Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Michael Roddy, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “I am appealing for the people in this images, or anyone who recognises them, to please contact police as I believe they may have vital information relating to Mohammed’s murder.

“I want to make it clear that they are not suspects but they may be witnesses to support the ongoing criminal justice proceedings as we have charged a man with murdering Mohammed.

“If you can help us, including if you saw anything of note in the Blue Lagoon Nature Reserve between 30 and 31 July, please get in touch with police.”
