Fire service explains dramatic flames and smoke seen on Milton Keynes estate
Firefighters have spoken out about an after-dark fire that could be seen for miles in MK this week.
Tall flames and plumes of smoke were spotted coming from the Bradville area at around 9.30pm last night (Tuesday August 18).
Fire crews from Broughton and Olney to the scene and found a vehicle, a camper van, ablaze.
They used one set of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish and contain the fire.
It is understood there had been a collision involving another vehicle shortly before the fire.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
