Police flock to Milton Keynes hospital for 'fear for welfare' emergency
The hospital’s multi storey car park has ground to a standstill after a fear for welfare incident involving a person on the roof.
Police are currently at the scene of Car Park D, opposite the main MKUH entrance and are urging people to avoid the area.
An officer said: “If you have parked your vehicle in this car park, please approach an officer at the scene to discuss removing it when you leave the area.”
They added: “If you are attending the hospital today, please avoid this area as there is a high volume of traffic.
“There is no wider risk to the public. We will update you with more details when we can.”
