Free talk for Milton Keynes residents on what to do in 999 emergency
Would you know what to do in a medical emergency? If you’re unclear the ambulance service covering Milton Keynes is hosting a public talk to offer advice.
It’s been organised by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) alongside the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) and British Heart Foundation and will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at 6.30pm.

South Central Ambulance Service runs a range of services, including:
> 999 emergency care
> 111 urgent care
> Non-urgent patient transport.
These core services are delivered by around 4,300 staff supported by 850 volunteers.
The service provides the 999 emergency ambulance service across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire with the contact centres handling over 600,000 emergency calls a year.
A service spokesperson said: “Find out how to get the right help when you need it, what happens when you call 999 or 111, and the simple actions you can take to help save a life,” said a service spokesperson.
“There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and hear from experts.”
The talk is online and free to attend. Email [email protected] to find out more and book a place.
