More than 1,000 people join launch event for new Milton Keynes pizza restaurant
More than 1,000 people joined in the fun as a new Milton Keynes pizza store opened its doors on Saturday April 18.
Boss Pizza, an independent pizza chain, opened its latest branch at 18 Secklow Gate West in the city on April 18, praising the community for its ‘incredible response.’
The opening day included dozens of prize giveaways, including cash and toys, as well as entertainment for visitors to enjoy.
Boss Pizza’s head of operations Ross Findlay said: “It truly was a launch party like no other.
“It was the most well attended and the most fun party and we are delighted for the people of Milton Keynes.”
To mark the occasion the restaurant offered customers its signature 12-inch margherita or flamin chicken pizzas for £2, selling more than 1,000 during the day.
The Boss Pizza franchise started in 2020 and the chain now has stores across the UK, including in Luton and Hemel Hempstead.
Chief executive of Boss Pizza Ajmal Mushtaq said: “We’re incredibly proud to see Milton Keynes become our biggest launch yet. To have so many people come out to support us on day one is simply amazing.
“Selling more than 1,000 pizzas on opening day is a huge milestone for the brand and a testament to the hard work of our team.
“We’re excited to now be part of the Milton Keynes community and look forward to serving our customers for years to come.”
