Umbrellas at the ready: wet and windy weather set for Milton Keynes
It looks like summer is officially coming to an end as cold temperatures, heavy rain and wind continues into the week.
It’s time to wrap up and invest in a decent umbrella, as we start to see cooler weather and Storm Austen approaches parts of the UK. Milton Keynes may not be on the list of areas with a weather warning in place this week, but it is still expected to see heavy rain and windy weather, according to the Met Office.
Wednesday, October 21 (Today):
Wednesday is looking unsettled and cloudy with shower outbreaks, likely heavy at times. The day should see a maximum temperature of 14 °C. It’s predicted that there will be a short-lived dry spell in the evening before further cloud and heavy rain moves eastwards around midnight. The night should be breezy with a minimum temperature of 5 °C.

Thursday, October 22:
Thursday could see a few showers to start with, before becoming largely dry with sunny spells. But clouds are expected to build later on with rain arriving into the evening. Winds should start off mostly light, but strengthening later on, with a maximum temperature of 15 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
The weather is expected to be unsettled over the weekend with showers and longer periods of rain throughout. It’s predicted to be windy or very windy at times, with a risk of gales. Temperatures should be around average.
