Russell Martin will be able to make five substitutions when his side take on Hull City this Saturday as part of a rule change brought in by the EFL.

Following consultation with clubs, the board has agreed to teams to make five changes - up from the usual three - for the remainder of the season.

Regulation 33.4 has been amended to permit Championship clubs to name up to nine substitutes in their matchday squad, with five permitted to take to the pitch in any fixture, while League One and League Two clubs to name up to seven substitutes in their matchday squad, again with five permitted to take to the pitch.
