A Safe Space to Grow: The Story of Tranquil Essence Wellness And Training Group Ltd.

Transitioning from over two decades in corporate leadership to founding Tranquil Essence Wellness And Training Group Ltd, my path took a profound turn following a personal health challenge with a heart attack. That pivotal life event fundamentally shifted my perspective, teaching me true resilience and inspiring me to trade the corporate grind for a life driven by purpose, empathy, and holistic wellbeing.

Today, our thriving premises in Milton Keynes house both our client salon and our accredited training academy. Holding an RQF Level 3 AET teaching qualification and a background in counselling, I built Tranquil Essence to break down hidden barriers in the beauty industry—offering professional treatments and accessible education within a safe space where clients and students alike can truly heal, grow, and thrive.

I know firsthand how hard it is to start over, and because of that, my greatest driving force is to give back. True business success to me is measured by the lives we lift as we climb. That is why our community work runs so deep, particularly through our partnership with my partner’s business, Fascia Fusion. Because we truly believe we are stronger together, we join forces to organize dedicated fundraising beauty days and community initiatives supporting local youth charities like SAFE! (Support for Young People Affected by Crime).

Being named a finalist for Inspirational Businesswoman of the Year is a reflection of overcoming life's unexpected challenges, building a community of care, and proving that when we stand united, we can make a lasting difference for others.
