Disqualified driver found hiding after fleeing police in Milton Keynes
A driver with no license and no insurance was found by police after failing to stop and abandoning his vehicle.
Police said the driver reacted and drove off from police community support officers in Oldbrook on the evening of Sunday, October 18. But he accidentally drove straight in front of a marked police vehicle and failed to stop.
The vehicle was later found on Kirkstall Place, but the driver had fled the scene. The driver, who claimed he wasn’t behind the wheel, was then found hiding nearby.
It was soon discovered that the offender had no driving licence, no insurance, and was also disqualified from driving.
The vehicle has now been seized, and the driver has been reported for a number of driving offences.
