Chapel Chophouse and Bar announces two-season sponsorship of Stony Stratford FC
Stony Stratford’s newest restaurant, Chapel Chophouse & Bar, has announced an exciting new partnership with Stony Stratford Football Club, becoming an official sponsor of the club’s first team for the next two seasons.
The partnership marks another important step in Chapel’s commitment to supporting the local community and building lasting relationships with the people, organisations and businesses that make Stony Stratford such a special place.
Having recently opened its doors following an extensive transformation of the historic former chapel in the heart of Stony Stratford, Chapel Chophouse & Bar is already looking beyond the restaurant to play an active role in the town’s community.
The two-season sponsorship will see Chapel support Stony Stratford FC’s first team, helping to contribute towards the club’s continued development and success both on and off the pitch.
The partnership also reflects the restaurant’s wider ambition to become an integral part of Stony Stratford, supporting local initiatives, celebrating community achievements and giving something back to the town that has welcomed the new business.
Leigh Strathearn, co-owner of Chapel Chophouse & Bar, said:
"We're absolutely delighted to be supporting Stony Stratford FC for the next two seasons. Since opening Chapel, we've received such a warm welcome from the local community, and we feel it's incredibly important that we give something back.
"Football clubs like Stony Stratford FC are at the heart of local communities. They bring people together, create opportunities and give people something to be proud of.
"We don't just want Chapel to be a successful restaurant; we want to be a business that genuinely contributes to Stony Stratford and supports the people and organisations that make this town so special.
"We're really looking forward to building a fantastic relationship with the club, supporting the players and hopefully celebrating plenty of success together over the next two seasons."
Damon Brown, SSTFC Chairperson:
"We are delighted Chapel have chosen to sponsor our First Team and support our Club in this way.
Sponsorship is a wonderful way for local businesses to support our teams and also for us to promote fantastic local businesses to our footballing community.
The historic Chapel building is a neighbour to our grounds so it is a perfect local partnership."
The sponsorship is one of several ways Chapel hopes to strengthen its ties with the community, with the restaurant keen to establish long-term relationships with local residents, businesses, charities and community groups.
Located within a beautifully restored historic building, Chapel Chophouse & Bar combines contemporary dining with the character and charm of its unique setting, offering premium steaks, freshly prepared dishes, cocktails and live entertainment.
With its doors now open, the restaurant is looking forward to becoming a much-loved destination for both local residents and visitors, while continuing to invest in the community it calls home.
