A Milton Keynes Council spokesperson said, on October 15, that the number of schools impacted by Covid-19 to date is 25.

Great Linford Primary School

The school's headteacher, Tara Lovelock, said two members of staff have tested positive for the virus and the affected class bubbles have been asked to self-isolate.

Long Meadow School

Long Meadow School, in Shenley Brook End, sent out its fourth warning letter in two weeks on Thursday (September 17) saying it has had to 'close a whole bubble' in line with national guidance.

Six people in total have tested positive so far.

Hundreds of students at the school - both its Year 7 and Year 8 groups - were sent home on September 12 after coming into contact with a confirmed case within the school.

Following this, 16 people tested positive for the virus including seven students, six teachers and three support staff.

Five more teachers - at the same time as the 16 cases - had come into contact with a positive case outside of the school and also had to self-isolate, meaning 11 teachers were off at one time.

Ousedale School

The school confirmed 'hundreds' of people were self-isolating after a person who later tested positive for the virus attended a mass gathering in woods in Olney, in September, which was attended by Year 10 students and above.

Following the 'party in the woods' - which the headteacher said she was 'disappointed' with - the school confirmed another student tested positive, taking its total to two confirmed cases.

Shenley Brook End School

In September, one person from the school tested positive and those directly in contact with the person were forced to self-isolate.

In October, three students have tested positive so far.

Loughton School

One Year 6 pupil has tested positive, according to another local media outlet. The school has declined to comment.

MK College

A student from the Inclusive Learning School, which is based at the Chaffron Way Campus, tested positive.

The college made 90 students and staff, who were directly affected, self-isolate until Thursday, September 24.

Loughton Manor First

Headteacher Daniela Thompson refused to comment after being asked if there has been a confirmed case related to the school.

According to another local media outlet, the school sent a letter out to parents on Thursday (September 17) saying Public Health England confirmed a case of Covid-19.

Slated Row School, Kents Hill Campus

Headteacher Zoe Baines confirmed a Year 11 pupil at the school's Kents Hill Campus tested positive for the virus.

Goldington Academy in Bedford

The school reported on Monday (September 21) that one student tested positive and that a group of pupils are self-isolating because of it.

Then, a week later on Monday (September 28), the school reported its second case.

Although not in Milton Keynes, a number of its students are from MK.

The Hazeley Academy

One Year 11 and one Year 8 student has tested positive.

The Redway School

The school in Netherfield has temporarily closed until Monday, October 5 due to two members of staff testing positive for Covid-19.

Bushfield School

The junior school in Wolverton reported one case of Covid-19 on Friday, September 25.

Broughton Fields Primary School

A whole year group at the primary school in Milton Keynes has been forced to self-isolate after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Oakgrove School

One student has tested positive.

Thornton College

The independent day and boarding school for girls, in College Lane, said a student tested positive on Tuesday (October 13).

Portfields Primary School

The Newport Pagnell school sent out a letter to parents on Sunday (October 18) alerting them that an adult at the school has contracted the virus.

Langland Community School

The school, in Netherfield, sent out a warning letter on Tuesday, October 20 informing parents a member of staff had tested positive.

Member of staff tests positive for Covid-19 at Milton Keynes schoolThe next day, on Wednesday, October 21, the school had to be closed due to an outbreak of the virus where four members of staff tested positive.

Russell Street School

The school, in Stony Stratford, said a member of staff tested positive and the affected class bubble was forced to self-isolate.

Moorland Primary School

The Beanhill school sent a letter to parents saying the infected person tested positive on Friday (October 2).

This newspaper is currently waiting on information from Walton High Walnut Tree Campus, as it is believed there has been a confirmed case there.

And, according to another local media outlet, New Bradwell School, St Paul's Catholic School and Walton High (Brooklands Campus) have all been affected by the virus.
